WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A Winston-Salem police officer had minor injuries after police said a man crashed into three patrol cars Thursday night.
The crash happened around 9:47 p.m. in the 5900 block of Silas Creek Parkway, according to the Winston-Salem Police Department. Corporal Hollifield, Officer Conway, and Officer Jackson were already on scene investigating a separate traffic accident when the crash happened.
Police said the officers' marked patrol vehicles were parked partially in the right northbound lane and partially on the shoulder, with blue and red emergency lights activated.
