A road near one of Suffolk's best spas is to close for three days next week while essential work is carried out.

Suffolk Highways is closing Lodge Road, Rosery Lane, Seckford Hall Road, The Street and Lower Street near Woodbridge from 9am to 3pm on Monday until Wednesday.

The closure is to allow the replacement of two gullies to take place, which are "causing a hazard and flooding" the carriageway.

Although the closure does not go past Seckford Hall , the hotel and spa will only be accessible from Woodbridge and not Great Bealings.

Suffolk Highways has issued a diversion using the A12, A1212, Main Road, Hall Road, The Street and vice versa.
