LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Kentucky and Indiana saw its second December snow Thursday night, and people woke up to a blanket of snow covering the ground.

Winter Weather Advisories and Winter Storm Warnings were issued for counties across Kentuckiana Thursday evening through Friday morning.

The National Weather Service said on social media Louisville is experiencing its fifth snowiest December ever recorded as of Friday. They said 9.9 inches of snow has fallen in Louisville so far this December.
