DURHAM, CT (WFSB) - Firefighters were called to a house fire in Durham on Friday morning, dispatchers confirmed.

They said the scene was on Middlefield Road.

The state Department of Transportation said Route 147 was closed at Route 17 because of the fire.

The closure was reported around 10:40 a.m.

There’s no word on injuries or a cause.

Channel 3 has a crew headed to the scene.
