OMAHA, Neb. —
Omaha Public Schools Board member Bri Full took to social media this week, after she says the board sanctioned her for her public advocacy regarding her resolution.
OPS Board President Jane Erdenberger said that's not the case.
Erdenberger said Full, the Subdistrict Two representative, was not sanctioned for her ideas. Full has been pitching a resolution regarding funding all OPS school lunches using contingency funding. That resolution has not received board support.
"There was not an appetite on the board to use public money to pay for lunches for families that can afford their lunches," Erdenberger said.
