SANDUSKY COUNTY, Ohio — A new K-9 has joined the Sandusky County Sheriff's Office, with an important role in the future of the team. But at present, she's an absolutely adorable puppy.

Deputy Eric Jordan officially picked up his K-9 partner, the sheriff's office announced on social media. The little puppy will join Jordan as a school resource officer and provide support for students. Once she's older, her job will include helping in situations where younger students may wander off from school and serving as a calm and comforting fixture in classrooms.
