ANN ARBOR — Recently fired University of Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore appeared in a Washtenaw County courtroom Friday afternoon, accused of taking two knives and a pair of scissors and threatening to take his own life. Moore, who appeared via video during his arraignment in 14A1 District Court, is charged with third-degree felony home invasion and misdemeanor stalking and breaking and entering.
Moore faces up to five years in prison if convicted of home invasion, the most serious of the three charges.
Moore has been in the Washtenaw County Jail since Wednesday night. He was detained after 4 p.m. Wednesday, shortly after he was informed of his firing by Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel, but before his firing had even been publ
