BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Thousands of people gathered along the streets of historic downtown Bryan Thursday night for the annual lighted parade, which featured over 80 floats, live music, and holiday cheer.
Community members of all ages filled the streets and shops of downtown Bryan as the sun set, eating, shopping and celebrating the holiday season.
Amy Cantrell attended the parade with her daughter and was looking forward to seeing her son participate with his R.O.T.C. class. “I feel like I’m in a Hallmark Christmas movie.”
One couple, Leanne and John Southerland, said they’ve been coming to the parade for years. “All the floats, all the lights, all the kids, all the people. It’s just local hometown fun,” said Leanne.
