SOUTH FULTON, Ga. — Two people were injured, and 18 others were forced from their homes after a fire at the chronically troubled Camelot Condominiums in South Fulton on Friday afternoon.
A release said the fire involves Building 6 at the complex, which has frequently been the subject of resident complaints about severe deterioration and violence. There was another fire there as recently as March that displaced 20 people.
On Friday, South Fulton Fire said in a release that "multiple fire units are actively working to contain the fire."
"At this time, the cause of the fire is unknown. The scene remains active," the release said. "Additional information will be provided as it becomes available."
