UNION COUNTY, Ga. — It has been a month since a law professor and attorney disappeared while hiking on Blood Mountain in Union County, but the family is holding out hope that he will be found in time for the holidays.
The family of 67-year-old Charles Hosch announced that they are organizing a 'major search' the weekend of Dec.13 and 14 to find him and are asking for volunteers.
Hosch was reported missing on Nov. 11 in the Blood Mountain area of the Byron Herbert Reece Trailhead, according to the Union County Sheriff's Office. The search continues in Union County for Charles Hosch.
Since he went missing, law enforcement and search-and-rescue units searched the area for weeks before pausing on Nov. 25 . Officials said there will be no "major operations" until they have more concrete
