Any kitchen is incomplete without a knife block set. Preferably one with a nice chef's knife , a serrated blade for bread, and maybe some steak knives or a pair of scissors. Personally, my fiancée and I were lucky enough to have received a starter KitchenAid set as a parting gift from an old roommate. It's done well by us, but nearly a decade later and we are in need of something that matches our considerably more adult appliances . Luckily, I'm a shopping expert who spends my time testing out the best cookware brands . I know the who to trust when shopping for new knives .
I recommend a wooden knife block set with a full assortment of steel knives. Just regular ole stainless steel will do, but some of us aren't the type to say no to a fancy Japanese Damascus steel blade . No
