A four-month water pipeline rehabilitation project will begin Dec. 15 along Higley Road between Guadalupe Road and Ray Road, according to the town’s Public Works Department.

The project is intended to repair and restore aging pipes to extend their lifespan and reduce the need for costly replacements.

Valves along Higley Road will be closed during the week of Dec. 15, which may affect households between Baseline Road and Williams Field Road and between Power Road and Val Vista Road.

Water service will not be interrupted, but water will be rerouted through other lines, which can cause temporary discoloration at taps. Officials said the water remains safe to use.
