Woman left scarred after being hit in head with whisky glass at Welsh pub

A woman was permanently scarred after being hit in the head with a whisky glass in a Welsh pub. She was left covered in blood and with a severe wound to her forehead.

Georgia Hemburrow, 25, and victim Celyn Williams had separately attended Fagins bar and restaurant in Church Village, Pontypridd , on September 9, 2023, where the assault took place. The defendant approached the victim, who was sitting at a table, with another woman and was "verbally aggressive" and argumentative.

A sentencing hearing at Cardiff Crown Court on Thursday, December 11, heard that when the defendant was asked by the victim who she was, she responded "Georgia f****** Hemburrow". Don’t miss a
