[WATERLOO, Iowa] — The Iowa Woo will be part of an expanded Indoor Football League next summer, bringing exciting changes to the local sports scene.
The league recently grew to eight teams, welcoming new franchises in Grand Island, Nebraska; Memphis, Tennessee; and Monroe, Louisiana.
The Woo will host four games at the Hippodrome in 2026. Their home-opener is set for May 30 against Monroe.
The team's eight-game schedule includes home games against St. Joe on June 13, Eau Claire on July 18, and Grand Island on July 25.
The league will crown a new champion next season after the departure of two-time defending champion Duluth, which joined a different league in September.
