Tom Cruise could have gone to President Donald Trump for an important favor and gotten an ambitious movie project off the ground.
But the Hollywood titan is said to have had a very good reason for holding back.
Page Six in the New York Post reported that Cruise in 2020 was looking to film an ambitious movie based in outer space that would reunite him with Doug Liman, who directed Cruise in the time-travel thriller “Edge of Tomorrow.”
It was said that Cruise and Liman would possibly need help from Space X, run by billionaire Trump fan Elon Musk, and NASA in order to get the project off the ground.
That’s where the countdown to liftoff with Trump apparently stopped.
