MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Several law enforcement agencies are involved in a shooting investigation Friday afternoon along North Belvedere Boulevard in Midtown Memphis.

Memphis police and ATF agents are currently posted near Parktown Place, where the roadway is blocked by crime scene tape.

The Memphis Police Department reports that officers were dispatched to the shooting scene at 2:15 p.m.

Two men, who police say were the only parties involved, were sent to the hospital. One victim suffered life-threatening injuries, while the other is in non-critical condition.

It’s unclear at this time what led to the gunfire, and it’s unknown at this time if either of the victims will face charges.
