WATERBURY, Conn. (WFSB) - Three men are facing charges after police responded to a robbery in progress on Fleet Street in Waterbury Friday.

Waterbury police officers responded to 12 Fleet Street around midday and found two suspects outside the building. They arrested Jason Zaruma, 28, of Danbury, and Cong Tran, 34, of Bristol.

Police say this was an isolated incident and the suspects knew the victim. A third suspect, Angel Taber, 26, of Waterbury, was identified and arrested later.

According to police, Taber had a gun and was seen clutching his waistband during the attempted robbery. K9 Bane helped search the scene and found a gun holster and a Ruger SR22 handgun. Officers also seized cocaine and heroin.
