WATERBURY, Conn. (WFSB) - With water distribution centers closed on Sunday night, residents have turned to alternative sources, including a natural spring on Waterville Street while they’re without water.
More than 100,000 people in the area do not have water due to the water main break on Thomaston Avenue . This forced residents to seek every available resource. The natural spring, located on private property, has become a lifeline for neighbors who fill buckets and water bottles with fresh water to take home for showers and plumbing needs.
