Part of I-395 closed in Griswold for crash

GRISWOLD, Conn. (WFSB) - Part of I-395 southbound is closed for a crash in Griswold on Sunday evening.

State police said there were serious injuries.

According to the Connecticut Department of Transportation, I-395 south was closed between exits 24 and 22.

Traffic was being diverted off exit 24.

DOT said only one car was involved in the crash.

The incident happened around 6:53 p.m.

There was no word on injuries or what caused the crash.
