The Lakewood Police Department announced Friday that it has arrested the suspected driver of the vehicle that crashed into the Central High School wrestling team’s bus last Saturday.

On Thursday evening, 22-year-old Andrew Logan Miller of Denver, who the police say crashed an SUV into Central’s bus, was arrested. The accident led to 16 victims, including 13 Central wrestlers and two Central coaches, being taken to area hospitals with varying injuries. Several victims from both vehicles remain hospitalized.

Miller has been charged with seven counts of vehicular assault, speeding 40 miles per hour or more over the speed limit, reckless driving, two counts of child abuse, reckless endangerment and other charges.
