CONCORD, N.H. —

New Hampshire Senate Democrats are rolling out their agenda ahead of next year's legislative session.

Democrats said their focus remains on trying to fight back against the high cost of living.

State Senate Democrats are pitching more money for housing programs next year, along with added funding and expanded eligibility for child care scholarships, making half of families in the Granite State able to access the program.

They said they also want to spend more state dollars on the public employee retirement system, arguing it would free up money at the local level to reduce property taxes.
