MIFFLINBURG — Additional details have been revealed in the case against two women from Baltimore who attempted to fraudulently cash a $2,800 check from the Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania at Service 1st Federal Credit Union in Mifflinburg, Sunbury and Shamokin Dam, according to the Mifflinburg Police Department.
The original charges against Sara Rose Elliott, 33, of Baltimore, were withdrawn. She was charged this week with 23 felonies: seven counts of forgery, seven counts of receiving stolen property, three counts of identity theft, three counts of theft by deception and three counts of access device fraud; and one misdemeanor count of use/possession of drug paraphernalia.
