J.J. Watt on Friday said his younger brother, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt, had to undergo surgery after experiencing a partially collapsed lung following "a dry needling treatment session” at the team’s facility in Western Pennsylvania.
J.J. Watt, who is a former NFL player, made the announcement in a post on X . After the team’s practice on Friday, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said T.J. Watt was home resting comfortably but would be unavailable when Pittsburgh hosts the surging Dolphins on Monday. Tomlin said he did not have a possible timeline for how long Watt will remain out of action.
