LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A significant pattern change arrives this weekend with accumulating snow Saturday and cold temperatures that will make Sunday morning feel like the dead of winter.
Snow begins Friday evening and continues into Saturday morning with the potential for very minor accumulations in Lincoln. However, the farther northeast you travel in Nebraska, the more likely you’ll see a couple inches if not more. If you’re heading northeast, plan for slick roads and reduced visibility during your travels.
The bigger story isn’t just the snow — it’s the dramatic temperature drop that comes with it. Saturday’s highs will be well below average and falling throughout the day (with our high around midnight).
Sunday morning will be even more brutal with sub-zero temperatures expected. Sli
