Alberta Teachers’ Association president Jason Schilling announced Friday that the union is making a formal complaint against the Teachers’ Employers Bargaining Association, which represents school boards and the province in labour negotiations.

This complaint has been filed with the Alberta Labour Relations Board.

The ATA has already launched legal actions against the province, which invoked the constitutional notwithstanding clause in late October in order to enact back-to-work legislation, ending a three-week Alberta-wide teachers
