FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Another quick taste of winter - during the waning days of autumn - will skip through the area over the weekend before the warmest air in weeks arrives!

Saturday morning will start off cloudy and cold with lows in the teens. By late morning to early afternoon (11 am to 1 pm) light snow is expected to fall thanks to a passing clipper system, which is reserving most of its energy for central and southern Indiana/Ohio. Nevertheless, all of northern Indiana will see a period of light snow through mid evening (8 pm or so) before all is said and done. North of Fort Wayne, up to an inch is expected. Fort Wayne - and points east and west - should expect an inch, maybe two should there be a last-minute jog north. South of Fort Wayne can plan on 2-3″.
