AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Saint Francis Ministries is providing Christmas gifts for children in their care through a program that helps kinship families during the holiday season.

The organization’s kinship and case workers help arrange Christmas gifts for children living in kinship homes.

These children live with close family friends, grandparents, aunts or other family members after being placed outside their original homes.

Saint Francis works with children and their families to create Christmas gift wish lists.

The organization said Christmas can be a difficult time for many families, even those with familial connections.
