A Stuttgart man wanted in a December 2024 homicide in North Little Rock was booked into the Pulaski County jail this week after being extradited from Kansas earlier this week, North Little Rock police said Friday.

James Newman, 25, faces charges of capital murder and attempted capital murder in the Dec. 21, 2024, killing of Michael Cox, 20, near 1300 Division St., a police news release states.

On Thursday, clerks at North Little Rock District Court said a judge had sealed Newman's case, and his case didn't appear in online court records late Friday afternoon.
