KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The late-season injury struggles along the Chiefs offensive line continue.

After their final official practice of the week on Friday, head coach Andy Reid said the offensive line that finished the game against the Houston Texans is the line he expects to start on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers.

That means protecting Patrick Mahomes’ blind side will be undrafted free agent Esa Pole, who will get his first career start after playing almost every snap of last game (vs. Texans), following Wanya Morris’ injury on the opening snap.

“This will be another test for him. Obviously, they [Chargers] have a good defensive front,” Reid said about Pole. “He did a nice job last week for sure.”
