CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Coming off a state tournament appearance in 2024, the Prairie Hawks are looking to fly deeper into the season.
To do that, they’ll look at their “Big 3.”
Junior KeaOnna Worley and seniors Brynlie Hadenfeldt and Emily Larsen have grown up playing ball together since they can remember.
“We’re best friends on and off the court, so that obviously helps on the court with our connection. We know where each other are. Like if I look up and I see Emily, I know where Brynlie is going to be and can throw it to her. We’ve been playing with each other for so long, we just connect,” Worley said.
Worley and Larsen plan to be sharing the court in college at Northern Iowa.
