IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - Iowa Football’s Logan Jones was awarded the 2025 Rimington Trophy, given to college football’s most outstanding center.

The Council Bluffs native has started 50 games in his college career and served as a game captain each game this season.

“It is an absolute honor to be recognized as this year’s Rimington Trophy recipient,” Jones said. ”It’s humbling to join the great winners who came before me. I want to thank Coach Ferentz, my head coach; Coach Barnett, my position coach; and most of all, my teammates—especially my fellow offensive linemen. I would not be here without them.”

Jones is a First Team All-Big Ten selection and the top-rated center in the country according to Pro Football Focus.
