OAKLAND COUNTY, MI – A 37-year-old Auburn Hills woman has been charged after allegedly stealing purses from two shoppers in two different stores.

Lynsie Marion Leinenger was charged with unarmed robbery and larceny from a person on Dec. 12, according to a news release from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.

The two incidents allegedly happened within 30 minutes of each other at Kroger and Meijer in Rochester Hills, according to the release.

Deputies were dispatched to Kroger at 65 S. Livernois on the report of a larceny after 8 p.m. on Dec. 11. A woman allegedly grabbed a purse from a shopping cart and left the store.

The purse belonged to a 64-year-old Rochester Hills woman and contained a phone, wallet, necklace and prescription medication, according to the release.
