WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Zoos and animal conservation groups are voicing concerns over the increase of videos created with AI that show animals exhibiting unusual behaviors.
These AI-generated videos seem to be flooding social media, causing experts to raise the alarm about how it can create misinformation.
“A lot of these videos are typically not accompanied by educational facts or information. So, it’s more attention-grabbing, attention-seeking and you are lacking some of the context and information about the species,” said LynnLee Schmidt, the Integrator and Chief Operating Officer at Tanganyika Wildlife Park.
