WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - A Wichita woman says she was scammed out of more than $150 by a Lyft driver who falsely claimed she vomited in his car and used fake photos to support the claim.

Katheryn Pinkston said she took a Lyft ride to Kwik Trip on Wednesday. She doesn’t own a car and thought it would be a normal ride.

“Everything went as normal, just casual conversation about the weather,” Pinkston said.

But when she was dropped off at her house, the driver charged her $158.

“He drove maybe a block, stopped, and then an unauthorized charge of $158 came off my card,” she said.

Driver used photos from social media sites
