CARLISLE –- The Big Spring boys wrestling team received a bevy of excellent performances throughout the first two rounds of the Carlisle Wrestling Classic Friday night and sit in third position as a team after two rounds.
The Bulldogs rallied through the latter stages of the second round at Carlisle High School, getting solid performances from their upper weight wrestlers.
Blake Gutshall at 285 pounds (a bye and a technical fall) and Andrew McCrea at 189 pounds with a decision and a major decision.
