PEORIA ( 25News Now ) - The Peoria Public Works Department is urging the public to avoid travel during the afternoon and evening hours on Saturday as the area prepares for another round of snow.
Peoria could see up to a half foot of snow, with road conditions expected to deteriorate rapidly, especially between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
“Those who must be on the road should allow extra travel time, reduce speeds, and use caution around plow trucks as crews work to maintain mobility and restore safe driving conditions,” a public works news release said.
