If you find yourself driving down the holiday road and spot a “Family Truckster” that looks eerily similar to the one driven by the Griswold family in the popular 1983 film “National Lampoon’s Vacation,” it’s not a mirage.
At least, not if you’re in the Mobile area.
However, it’s not Clark Griswold at the wheel; it’s Craig Rowley, a Daphne resident who purchased the LTD Queen Wagon about a month ago and has been turning heads with it ever since.
“I’ve literally had everybody stop and take pictures with it,” said Rowley. “Take pictures of me, take pictures of them with it, of it driving down the road. All you see is just camera flashes. It’s a hit.”
