After Oklahoma defeated Alabama at Bryant-Denny Stadium in November, several Sooners took time to go back onto the field after the game to take pictures. They specifically crossed over a thin rope to stand and take photos on the Alabama logo .

Crimson Tide players saw it, and they remember it as No. 9 Alabama prepares to face No. 8 Oklahoma on Friday, Dec. 19 in Norman, Oklahoma in the first round of the College Football Playoff.

“We understand the disrespect,” Alabama receiver Ryan Williams said after practice Friday. “We’ve just got to handle it with a grain of salt and get ready to go play next Friday.”

An Alabama staffer saw it happening and shooed the Oklahoma players off. She told them to “be respectful.”

“We won that B—-,” wide receiver Jer’Michael Carter said in response.
