OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - One person has died as a result of a shooting near the Benson neighborhood .

Omaha Police say officers responded to the scene near 61st and Bedford streets around 9 p.m. Friday night.

At the scene, officers found three people suffering from gunshot wounds, and all three were taken to the hospital.

One of the victims, identified as 18-year-old Darren Greer, later died from his injuries.
