Hotels inside Grand Canyon National Park will likely reopen soon, the National Park Service said in an operational update on Thursday, Dec. 11.

All overnight accommodations at the canyon’s South Rim were paused on Dec. 6 following yet another break in the beleaguered Transcanyon Waterline .
