1Cherry Hill, NJ – The Camden County Office of Emergency Management has issued a Code Blue Alert beginning Saturday evening as dangerously cold temperatures move into the region.

The alert will remain in effect from 7 p.m. Saturday, December 13, through 7 p.m. Monday, December 15, with overnight lows expected to drop as low as 17 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

Warming centers open across Cherry Hill

In response, Cherry Hill officials have designated several local warming centers for residents in need of shelter from the cold. These include the Cherry Hill Mall at 2000 Route 38 and the Cherry Hill Public Library at 110 Kings Highway North, both open during regular business hours.
