A vehicle crashed into a pole, resulting in an isolated power outage with unknown injuries on Saturday morning in Youngstown, according to Ohio Edison officials.
Around 10:40 a.m. Saturday, a vehicle collided with a telephone pole, causing the pole and wires to collapse to the ground near East Indianola Avenue in Youngstown.
An Ohio Edison official stated that the incident is under control, with the power outage isolated to the immediate area and caution tape around the perimeter directly affected by the crash.
Youngstown police and fire departments are on scene but were not available for comment at the time of the incident.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
