A caller at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 28 reported a reckless driver on I-90 was weaving in and out of traffic and narrowly missing other cars.

The Hyundai exited the highway at Columbia Road.

The driver reported the woman pulled into a Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot before opening the door and vomiting on the pavement.

Officers found the vehicle in the parking lot. The 32-year-old driver, who listed an address in Addison, Texas, said that she was not feeling well. The officers noted that she smelled of an alcoholic beverage and vomit. She slurred her speech while explaining that she was headed from Cleveland to Northfield.

Police reports note that geographically, this route should not include a stop in Westlake. The woman said that she did not have that much to drink. How
