GRAND FORKS – Over 90 officers, department employees and citizens were honored at the Grand Forks Police Department’s annual award ceremony on Friday, Dec. 12.
In his opening remarks, Chief Jason Freedman emphasized his gratitude for all department employees and their families, highlighting their sacrifices to keep the community safe.
“Tonight, we recognize those who go above and beyond in service to our community, who are reflecting on the unity, gratitude and goodwill this season,” Freedman said. “Each of you plays a vital role in keeping our community safe and we thank you for your commitment, courage and compassion.”
