An Arctic blast of bitterly cold air is locked in over Michigan today. In the western Upper Peninsula town of Ironwood, wind chills early this morning were reported at -34 degrees, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Marquette.
Another night of very cold temperatures and sub-zero wind chills are in store for tonight across Michigan - part of pattern that’s stretching from the Plains states, across the Midwest and Ohio Valley, and into the eastern United States.
In Michigan, we’ll see the cold temperatures and dangerously plunging wind chills continue into Monday, according to the NWS.
