Lows tonight will drop down into the 20s, and highs will barely make it into the 30s. If that wasn’t cold enough, the big freeze moves in early Sunday into Monday morning.
We will be in Weather Alert Mode due to dangerous temperatures and wind chill values. Actual temps will range in the teens. Wind chill values could fall into the single digits across much of the region. Some could see wind chill values near zero if not below.
If unprepared, these temperatures can be deadly. SO be cautious and take steps to protect yourself, your pets, and your pipes inside your home.
The good news is temps will rebound quickly into the 50s by Tuesday. After that, temps are looking to stay well above the average heading into Christmas.
