BISMARCK — Cayden Redfield scored 18 points as the University of Mary edged the Minnesota State Moorhead 96-90 on Saturday in NSIC men's basketball.

The Dragons (7-4, 4-1 NSIC) had their three-game winning streak snapped, losing their first conference game this season.

Dominic Gooden paced MSUM with 24 points, while Sam Hastreiter and Isa El-Amin added 17 points apiece.

The Dragons trailed by 49-38 at halftime, but rallied multiple times in the second half. MSUM cut the Mary lead to one possession on multiple occasions, but never took the lead after halftime.

MSUM next plays at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, against Northern State at Alex Nemzek Fieldhouse in Moorhead.
