RANDOLPH, Mass. —
A man was injured Friday when a vehicle travelled through several yards and struck a house in Randolph, Massachusetts.
Police and fire crews responded at 4:15 p.m. to 17 Julian Road for a report of a vehicle into a home. First responders arrived and found a 46-year-old Randolph man trapped inside a car that had struck a home and caused significant damage to the home's foundation and basement.
The driver was taken to Boston Medical Center with injuries that appeared to be serious but non-life-threatening.
Police said the driver was in a driveway at his home on nearby Pine Road when his vehicle went out of control, travelled through yards, struck a statue and the side of the house on Julian Road.
No one was in the home at the time, as it was undergoing renovations.
