ST. CLAIR SHORES – Curtis Gilleylen might have a gray hair or two before this boys basketball season is over.
The first-year St. Clair Shores South Lake coach has a young and inexperienced team that has had a difficult time closing out games this season.
Well, the young Cavaliers may have blown a late fourth-quarter advantage, but the hosts still found a way to win a close affair with a 59-57 victory over visiting Madison Heights Madison.
“These young boys are having a hard time closing out games. But we found a way to win this one,” said Gilleylen, who is in his first season with the Cavaliers. “We did figure this out.
