Fraser Public Schools has officially started constructing its new multi-purpose athletic space at Fraser High School.
The space, which is expected to be completed by September 2026, will provide room for the wrestling, cheer and gymnastic teams to practice.
The space is being constructed on the north side of Fraser High School. The project is part of a $13.4 million bid pack that also includes boiler system replacement, HVAC replacement, partial roof replacement and some exterior wall panel improvements.
The board of education approved the funds for the project at its Oct. 20 meeting. The funds come from the $59 million bond that was passed in 2023.
